Especially when we shined it on one of their hands and let them "catch it." They are so stinkin' cute and are growing up way too fast.

Hello all! I'm finally updating our blog.....Yay! Don't get too excited because you're probably going to have to look at this post for the next few months until I get another break from school.
Rian and I had a great Christmas and New Year with each other and our families and it's been a nice break from school for the both of us! Spring semester starts on January 11th and I couldn't be dreading it more, I've had too much fun being free. Here are some pics from Christmas Eve at Rian's mom's....

My mom won a trip to Disneyland and she was nice enough to take Rian and I. We were in need of a little break from work and school..... Rather that that, not much else has been happening. Delainey was in town last week and we got to see her. She is so stinkin' cute I can't believe how big she is! We love her and are very excited for the next time we get to see her which hopefully is sometime in November. Unfortunatly I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any pictures of Delainey, all I have are pictures at Disneyland.....

This past weekend we went down to Mesquite to visit Rian's grandma and to get in a little golfing. We golfed Wolf Creek, Casablanca and Falcon Ridge all at the butt crack of dawn..... The above pictures don't even do justice to how beautiful Wolf Creek and Falcon Ridge are. They are two of the most beautiful golf courses in Utah! Now.... back to reality! Rian and I both start school on the 26th, blah!

Yesterday I received some awesome news...... I have been accepted to the Radiology Tech program at SLCC and I start August 26th! I am so excited, I've been on the waiting list for 2 years and wasn't supposed to start until Fall 2010. YAY!!!

We went 4-Wheeling on the 4th of July up in Ophir, Utah. It is the cutest little town, population....6. It is beautiful up there. We saw a bunch of Mine shafts and old mining towns like Jacob's city.

So, Rian plays in a local Ice Hockey league on Monday nights and last night turned out to be quite a night! Long story short, Rian was going for the puck as well as a guy from the other team and from what Rian can remember the way the other guy hit him caused his helmet to come down and split his skin right above his upper lip and corner of his mouth. You can also see the knot on his eyebrow and scrape on his cheek. How this happened, I have no idea! I wasn't paying attention as usual and Rian said it happened so fast he can't exactly remember how it happened.

Rian of course had to finish out the 2 1/2 periods and as much as he didn't want to go to the Instacare, he finally gave in..... After all the cut on his upper lip did go all the way through into his mouth. He ended up with 3 stitches above his lip and 1 at the corner of his mouth... Just to brag a bit, the Dr was very impressed that Rian didn't show any pain when he put the needle in the cuts several times to numb them nor did he want any pain medication. The Dr said, "Wow! You must be a Hockey Player to be this tough!" I'm so proud of you Ri! You look great all banged up!

Happy Father's Day to My dad Rick and Rian's dad Bob. They've both played amazing roles in our lives and we want them to know how much we love them...... Rian played in a Father/Son golf tournament with his dad on Saturday up at HVCC and they took 2nd! Way to go boys! On Sunday we hung out with my dad and took him up to Kennecott, What a cool place! My dad loves trucks so we stayed up there for quite awhile..... We love you guys!

And he even picked up his spare......

Rian had his 5 seconds of fame Thursday night..... Actually it was more like 1.2 seconds. Anyway, there was a homemade bomb that blew up at Olympus Hills Bowling Alley on Wednesday night and ABC 4 was there Thursday reporting on it. Towards the end of this video you will see a man in a green shirt throw a ball down the lane and he picks up his spare! Well the man in the green shirt is none other than RIAN!!! So cool!

Baseball Fun

Chris was in town last week with the Tacoma Rainiers playing against the Bee's. It was a 4 game series and I made it to 3!!! That's pretty good for me because I'm not quite the baseball fan that I should be to fit in with Rian's Family..... Isabelle was the biggest reason for me going to the games because we got to play and ride the "Choo-Choo" Chris you did great and it was good to see you, Heather and Ki!

No not the end of the world, just the end of the Hockey Season..... The Grizzlies wrapped up their season this weekend in the playoffs. They did play well and gave it their all however the Puking Lameroeux was just to good! But the Redwings are still in it and now all Rian does besides work is watch Hockey! There are 3 to 4 games on per night and all we have to say is........................

GO REDWINGS!!!

P.S. "The Puking Lameroeux" is the Alaska Aces Goalie and he puked in Game 4 three times and he didn't even lift his mask, he just puked thru it. It was pretty much the coolest and grossest thing I've seen.....

Today we went golfing at Glenmoor, It was such a nice day that I even got sunburned! I love this nice weather! Here I am playing Spider Golf with Rian while we wait for the group ahead of us to get out of the way..... And this is us with our favorite golfing bevarage, an Arnold Palmer!

Late Easter Post

Sorry this is so late but you know what they say, better late then never! Right? Anyway we hope you all had a great Easter, we did! We started our day with brunch at Missy and Brady's new house, which is beautiful! We had lots of nummy food including Rian's mom Tracy's Cinnamon Rolls, they were amazing and so was the egg casserole thing Missy made. After we all stuffed our faces with food we played with Jelly and Ki and layed around and watched the Master's Tournament, Oh Phil! We were really routing for you! We ended our day with dinner up at Hidden Valley and the Chocoalte Fountain, YUM! Obviously Jelly and Ki weren't having anything to do with the camera, Oh how I love these two!

Wednesdays OFF!

Rian and I both have Wednesdays off from work. It is sooo nice to get a break in the middle of the week, we get to sleep in and do whatever we want for the whole day. I LOVE it! We, well mostly Rian is patiently waiting for the weather to turn warm so we can go golfing on our Wednesdays off. What a great chance to work on my tan! I have to admit I am hoping that it will turn warm soon too. I love the winter but I got a little taste of spring last week and it was very nice...... I hate scraping my car windows!

Phoenix Farewell

This weekend Rian helped Chris and Heather move down to Phoenix for Mariners Spring Training. When they got there they set off an alarm to the house and when Rian came out, the police where there to question him. Once he explained that they were there moving things into the house and not out of it, the police let him go after running his background....

Rian said there were some Rabbits on the course but he didn't bring me one...

Rian said Phoenix was very pretty and very BIG! Rian forgot to get a picture of University of Phoenix Stadium but says that it is the coolest stadium he has seen. We will miss you Chris, Heather and Ki but hope to see you soon! Thanks for everything!

This picture was taken at the Golf Course that we ate Brunch at after the Ceremony. The food was amazing!!!

This is "Secret Cove" where Rian and I got Married. Zach is standing on some rocks looking back at the beach. You can see a little opening on the right hand side in the trees, that is where you enter from. There is a house on the left that is supposedly Tiger Woods' house. Our photographer said she has seen him hitting balls from the back yard into the Ocean.... As we were getting married there were some Sea Turtles hanging out in the Ocean, it was so gorgeous!

Wow! Doesn't almost every wife dream of this? Wednesday night I decided to do a little cooking since I haven't done much of it lately.... well, ever! Anyway I found a recipe for Homemade Macaroni and Cheese which sounded pretty good and a recipe for some Cheesy Chicken (which is cooked in the Microwave). I go to the grocery store and get all the needed ingredients. I get home and proceed to make it, well Rian butts in and tells me that he should just make the Mac and Cheese since I can't cook and I don't pay attention to the recipe... So long story short, the only thing Rian let me do AFTER I screwed up the noodles was grate the cheese and cook the microwave chicken. All in all it turned out pretty good even though I got my feelings hurt a little... Oh well, there's always next time!

So obviously it has been a while since we have updated our blog. Anyway, I absolutly LOVE being married! The only thing I would change is we NEED a bigger closet. I'm sure some of you know that I HAD tons of clothes and shoes (Notice the past tense). My closet used to be so full of clothes that I could barely get anything hung back up after I did laundry, I literally had to use my body to push open a space! Then Rian comes along and made me go through my closet. It is now down to 3/4 of the way full. That is a huge accomplishment for me! However I am holding a grudge against Rian cause now I don't have that big of a selection to choose from. I guess I'll have to go shopping now! Yay!

Yay!! I figured it out, with no help at all! I'm good! Okay, so here are a few of the pics, MJ took over 400 pictures! We had these done at Siver Lake, it is at the Top of Big Cottonwood Canyon by the Brighton Ski Resort.
This next one is hilarious!! Rian wasn't sure quite what to do, I call it "The Toy Soldier"
As you can see I was wearing High Heels, well the ground was really soft and uneven so Rian had to carry me.... What a STUD!

We had a blast! It was so much fun but it was freezing!!!

So, I've been trying to upload some of the pictures that we had taken for our Engagements but for the life of me I cannot figure out how. I guess the problem is the picture file is too big, but I have no idea how to change it! Oh well... My mom and Dad bought Rian and I a camera for our Wedding, so hopefully it will be easier to upload photos from that.... I guess we will see! I will try to post some pics of the wedding and Honeymoon when we get back. Wish us luck! 5 days to go!!!
